Smart Augment is a research desk for agency mortgage bond investors, sold as software by subscription. It ingests the monthly agency loan level disclosure files, runs the customer's own screens over the pool universe, models prepayment speeds against the rate scenarios the customer supplies, values the pools that pass against the generic price, and assembles a committee memo per name with the screen definition and the model run attached. Three plans are published on the website: Research at no charge, Desk at $200 per named user per month billed monthly, and Platform at $1,000 per named user per month billed annually at $12,000 per user per year. Prices are shown before you pay and the customer may cancel at any time, with cancellation taking effect at the end of the paid period.
The service is provided per named user. The customer gives accurate information, keeps credentials secure, is responsible for activity under each seat, and does not share a seat between people. Models are estimates. Modelled prepayment speeds, spreads, payups and scenario results are estimates produced by models, not predictions, and realised outcomes may differ materially. Reports are prepared from data as of a stated date and are not updated after publication unless a new version is issued. Illustrative counts and figures shown on the website describe one month and are not a guarantee.
